Vox Populi is an organization of professionals in the field of Research (Social, &Communication), Communication and Documentation with a collective experience of more than 30 years. It is an initiative designed to cater to research and allied services to the social sector. Vox Populi aims to be an agency that can provide customized services to this specific sector. Vox Populi is adept in designing, executing and reporting statistically reliable, quantitative, cross-sectional and longitudinal research assignments, namely, baseline, midterm, impact assessment, situational analysis studies. Vox Populi team consists of academically and professionally qualified social researchers, data analyzers, data collectors, field supervisors, and language editors.

Our Team
Sunetra Deshpande, Founder
is a social researcher and documentation specialist based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, working in this field since the last 20 years.
After finishing her postgraduate studies in development communication she started her career as a social activist. The association with grassroots work has been invaluable in building and strengthening her ideologies and philosophies in life. From active social intervention, she changed direction and went on to master her skills in research. A research lecturer she has been a guiding source to many students and believes in
living life to the fullest.
Madhu Menon, Co-Founder
is a passionate traveller and communicator with a philosophy “life is a journey”. A PhD scholar in Environmental Communications, he holds a Masters degree in Developmental Communication (MDC), Bachelors degree in Science (BSc) and Post Graduate Programme in Environment & Ecology (PGPEE).
Director of many socially relevant films, he was part of the team that won the best film award in the International Nature Film Festival, Poland in 2002. He has been felicitated by CMS Vatavaran International Nature & Wildlife Film Festival in 2010, and recognized as the “Ambassador of Peace” by Universal Peace Federation, an organisation supported and promoted by United Nations in appreciation of his efforts in combining environmental activities and international peace. He is closely associated with many non-government organizations like Sanchetana and Sahrwaru and one of the Directors of Anala Outdoors.
Jagruti Patel
Jagruti has been trained in Banking but has had a career in research since 2006. She has experience working as a field investigator with various organizations like CORT; Black and White; and others. She has also worked with Viksat; SEWA-IFMR; CMF. She has been associated with Vox Populi right from its inception in 2011 as Project Associate. Her work entailed Field Work; Monitoring data collection; Conducting FGD; Data Entry; Training investigators; Translation; Master trainer for investigators and general administration, accounts and project management.
Jigna Patel
Trained in Journalism from the Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Jigna started her career working in 2004 as a proof reader in Srusti. This continued till 2007 and from there her journey in research started with working as a Project Assistant with and Organization called ‘Black and White’ of which Sunetra Deshpande was one of the Founders. Jigna has been associated with Vox Populi right from its inception in 2011 and has worked as a Project Associate. Her work entailed Field Work; Monitoring data collection; Conducting FGD; Data Entry; Training investigators; Translation; Master trainer for investigators and general administration, accounts and project management.
